I would like to take a moment to introduce myself to the Most Blessed Sacrament Community. I have recently accepted the position of Director of Christian Formation. My name is Josh Boudreaux and I have been married for twelve years to my beautiful wife, Christina. We have an adorable seven yr. old named Ashton, also affectionately known as Butterbean. Before I was married, I was a Benedictine monk for about nine years. I was not a priest, but a brother monk and served the community as the academic assistant in the seminary college, spiritual director/retreat presenter, as well as an infirmary assistant to the elderly monks. I also served on the Abbot’s council as an advisor. I have a B.S. in Mass Communications and last summer I received my Masters of Pastoral Studies from Loyola University.
Soon after leaving the monastery, I worked several years in the banking and mortgage industry. I felt that God wanted me to be involved in ministry within the Catholic Church. I was blessed to work at St. George School for six years. My first year I was the CRE and the following years I spent teaching 6th and 7th grade Religion. Three years ago, I switched from the school to the church side taking a position as Youth Minister and facilitator for Junior and High School PSR. I also worked with hosting Mission trips and assisting with the yearly March for Life trip.
I look forward to meeting the family of Most Blessed Sacrament. My prayer is that I can help this community continue living out the Catholic faith with all its beautiful traditions, as well as offering new ways to grow closer to Christ through the various stages of Christian formation. Please keep me in your prayers as I will keep you in my prayers.
Galatians 2:20 “so that it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. This life that I live now,
I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me.”
